I saw this Mansion yesterday during my Sunday Open House tour and I have to say the developer Nile Niami didn’t spare a thing. This opulent home was designed by the renowned Paul McClean who has become one of the go-to architects for ultra-modern luxury mansions in Los Angeles, CA.
The photos I’ve added speak for themselves. I included some that focus on the unique design elements and take this home to the next level. The home is truly over the top luxury and has features like gromet tiled showers and marble engraved backlit bathroom walls. The home theater is probably the best home theater ever built from a technical and design perspective. You feel like you’re in the halls of a modern art museum with the expanisve ceiling heights, perfect for an art collector. I can’t get over the grand staircase. I have a minor obssessoin with them.
Now, there’s always pros and cons when it comes to looking for a home because we all have our own specific style, tastes, wants and needs. If I had to critiuqe this home I would say it kind of felt like the developer treated the upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms other than the master, like an afterthought. The only reason I can think of why they’d do this is potentially to allow for the new owner to put their own personal touches on the home so that is why they didn’t bother investing too much into the extra rooms. The same goes for the in-home gym, it was very underwhelming. There were also some things I would have done differently with the baths in both his and her master bathrooms. I think the tubs are very small compared to the sheer size of each bathrooms. Proportionately the bathrooms really do command larger tubs and that should have been included in the design. The only other thing I noticed about this property is that it’s a very large grand home that takes up most of the lot. There really is not that much outdoor space for a house this size. I wonder if they should have made the house slightly smaller in order to take advantage of the gorgeous grounds and created more of an indoor-outdoor living experience.
This is the challenge of a developer building spec homes. They have to do a little bit of guesswork while at the same time try to design and sell the dream. So if you’re looking for an ultra-luxurious and very extravagant home this is the home for you. I nicknamed it the ” Baller Mansion”
